The War

I'm tired of reports, I'm tired of hearing it fought about. Where do I go to support the War? I know where to go to fight it. EVERYONE seems to have an agenda against it. I just want to go on record as saying a few things.

#1. I don't think President Bush is a horrible troop killing man. I think if he had foreseen this happening in 2001/2002, we wouldn't be in this situation. If you're going to blame someone for not seeing the future, let's start with Franklin D. Roosevelt and WW2.

#2. I don't think there's any way to leave Iraq and not have it bite the U.S.A. in the ass. I think if there was, the President would have done it. DUH

#3. I think that Cindy Sheehan should be damn glad that her son VOLUNTEERED, and then go home and mourn, knowing a nation mourns with her. Otherwise, I think she should be hauled off to jail and prosecuted.

#4. I think that our troops deserve, nay DEMAND, our respect for their sacrifices, the sacrifices that their children, parents, spouses and communities make. Calling for their immediate return for their own good is short sighted and frankly, moronic.

#5. You want to desert the military, go for it. I want to see you court martialed and charged to the fullest extent of the law. You knew what you were getting into. Before people start yelling.....I've lost a lot of friends. Between the '91 war, the World Trade Center, the London bombings and this round in Iraq the thought of people I've lost is truly heartbreaking. But I respect, love and most of all miss them all. There's nothing more to say.

My girl scout troop sends care packages to soldiers overseas (not just the ones in Iraq). Our office has adopted Darcy, the wife of one of our agents' sons. She was deployed in Iraq over Easter weekend. What are YOU doing to support our troops other then opening your big mouths about how you hate this war? STFU and do something about it, or move to Canada. *I* don't want you here.

Oh, and I finished reading Bridge to Terebithia.

-The End.
