Of course, I'll have to come up with some great letters to send Mikey, and some awesome care packages once he graduates. He's heading in right as the holiday season is creeping up on us (rather quickly, I might add). I'm sure that won't help. But I am hopeful for him. He's a good kid, with tons of potential, and if the Army can help him reach his goals and he can serve his country faithfully and well what more needs to be said?
I am so very proud, and so very thankful for the sacrifices he and his family will make. I know it will be hard on him (and poor Trish must be taking it very hard). But I wanted to be very public in my thanks, and appreciation for him and his choice to serve.
GO ARMY (if my co-workers see me typing this, I may start a riot)!
Have a Great Navy Day all! =)
